Zanmi Lasante National Teaching Hospital / Mirebalais, Republic of Haiti

WDG provided structural engineering field inspection services during the critical construction phase of the Partners in Health (PIH) / Zanmi Lasante National Teaching Hospital located in Mirebalais.

Opened in 2012, this 180,000 square foot, 320 bed hospital will be the country of Haiti’s largest, most modern, state-of-the-art medical facility building.

We helped PIH oversee the most critical aspects of the installation of reinforcing steel throughout the first floor of this complex facility. Our licensed structural engineers gave guidance to the local rebar production and installation crews to ensure that their field work confirmed precisely to the structural engineering requirements and specifications required by the design plans.
